MY STORY
I have always been interested in Interior Design, Architecture and Fashion. I believe in the power of beautiful spaces to transform daily life. I pride myself on my attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship in all of my designs. I love bringing my clients along the design journey from the initial project meeting through the design process, including finish, fixture, and furnishing, construction, and installation.
I have a passion for working with historic buildings that possess a sense of architectural integrity, fusing them with the modern lifestyles and needs of my clients. Before pursuing Interior Design, I had a career in retail buying and management, working for family-run businesses and The Limited Corporation. I spent five years at Disneyland as a manager in the Resort Enhancement Department, leading the window display, interior merchandise, restaurant propping, seasonal overlay, and fresh floral programs resort-wide.
In 2001, I decided to leave retail and pursue my dream of becoming an Interior Designer. I obtained my Interior Design degree and managed the Interior Design Department for award-winning architect Kelly Sutherlin McLeod, AIA for 17 years, focusing on custom residential, commercial, civic, historic, ecclesiastical, and restaurant projects. I also worked on numerous high-profile and significant historic preservation and restoration projects, including The Gamble House and Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena, several Greene and Greene residences throughout Los Angeles, the Richard Neutra-designed Olan G & Aida T Hafley House in Long Beach, and Sedwick Ranch in Santa Barbara. I spent four years commuting to Michigan to restore a lodge and goat farm and worked on renovations to a ranch in Northern California.
Owning my own business has allowed me to continue my passion for working on unique projects with amazing and helping them transform their spaces. I have been fortunate to work with talented craftsmen and artisans who equally as passionate about design and detail as I am. I amED certified and passionate about sustainability and universal design, striving to be conscious of this in all my projects. When I'm not running my business, I teach space planning, historic preservation, and drafting classes at the Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach. I also love spending time with my family and restoring our 1913 Craftsman Bungalow in Pasadena.
Reimagine. Rethink. Redecorate.

As we evolve, so should our spaces.
